The Redskins are making money moves!!! Haha, Just kidding. The Redskins have brought back seldom-used wide receiver Brian Quick, a move for some depth at a thin position. The Redskins cut Quick, 30, in November but wanted to bring him back for receiver depth.
The Redskins are currently thin at wide receiver as Paul Richardson and Robert Davis are coming off of serious injuries sustained during the 2018 season. Cam Sims and Trey Quinn are both coming off of ankle injuries that cut their seasons short.
Quick played for the St. Louis/Los Angeles Rams for five seasons before latching on with the Redskins in 2017. He looked like a promising stud for the Rams in 2016 with a stat line of 41/564/3 before rotator cuff surgery ended his season early. Quick has been cut and brought back numerous times since signing with Washington.
