By Zach AllenRedskins center Chase Roullier is working his way back from a procedure he underwent in the offseason. According to Roullier, the surgery was done so “it doesn’t hinder him in the future.”
In 2018, was the only player on the Redskins to play 100% of the offensive snaps. He was a lone spot of dependability on an extremely injury-plagued Redskins team. Brandon Scherff and Shawn Lauvao, the starting guards, both went on injured reserve in week 9. Trent Williams also missed a couple games in 2018.
The 2017 sixth round pick should be healthy before the regular season starts in 98 days. According to Matthew Paras, Roullier is working hard in the team’s rehab area during OTAs. Look for Roullier to be the leader for the Redskins offensive line once again in 2019.
